The short version: read freely, share with attribution, don't republish whole articles, don't sue us if SEO is hard. The long version follows.

Use of this site

This site is provided free of charge for educational purposes. By using it, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the site.

Content ownership

All articles, tools, charts, diagrams, and code on this site are the original work of SEOSchoolPro and are protected by copyright. You may:

  • Read any of our content for personal use
  • Quote reasonable portions for reviews, references, or commentary, with a link back to the original article
  • Share links to our articles freely on social media, in newsletters, or anywhere else
  • Use what you learn in your own work, business, or client projects

You may not:

  • Republish entire articles on other websites — even with attribution
  • Translate full articles without permission
  • Use our content to train AI models without permission (see our robots.txt for which AI crawlers we explicitly permit)
  • Resell our content as part of paid products
  • Modify our charts or diagrams and present them as your own

If you'd like to do something not covered here, email hello@seoschoolpro.com. We're often flexible for non-commercial uses.

Educational content disclaimer

The information on this site is intended to teach SEO concepts and best practices. It is not personalized advice for your specific website, business, or situation. SEO outcomes depend on many factors outside our control — including your industry, competition, existing site authority, and how Google's algorithm treats your specific niche.

We do not guarantee that following our advice will result in any specific ranking, traffic level, or revenue. SEO is hard. Anyone who guarantees results is selling something.

Tools and calculators

Our free tools (SERP preview, schema generators, etc.) are provided "as is." They produce useful estimates and outputs, but they are not authoritative. For example, our SERP preview shows a pixel-perfect simulation, but Google may sometimes rewrite your title or description, or display features that change how your result appears.

Use our tools as guides. Verify important results in Google's own tools (Search Console, Rich Results Test, PageSpeed Insights) before making consequential decisions.

External links

We sometimes link to external websites — Google's documentation, other SEO publications, research papers. We have no control over the content of those sites. Their inclusion does not imply endorsement of everything on those sites.

Limitation of liability

SEOSchoolPro and its contributors shall not be liable for any damages arising from your use of this site or its content. This includes (but is not limited to) lost rankings, lost traffic, lost revenue, or any consequential damages. We provide free education in good faith — what you do with it is on you.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be flagged on the homepage for at least 14 days. Continued use after a change means acceptance of the new terms.
